1. Judahlicious
Environmental Commitment
Our doors opened in December 2004 with a green business model and a blue collar attitude. Judahlicious was one of the first businesses to participate in the San Francisco Green Business Program. We maintain a small carbon footprint and environmentally responsible business practices. Rolling up our sleeves and making the effort has put us pretty darn close to zero waste.
Local Produce
Whenever possible, Judahlicious purchases locally-sourced fruits and vegetables which provide excellent taste and freshness. Additionally, buying locally strengthens our local economy, reduces carbon emissions, preserves genetic diversity, and supports local family farms.
Organic Produce
Judahlicious is committed to environmental preservation and responsible farming practices. Using organic produce contributes to cleaner air and water, prevents soil erosion, reduces pesticide reliance, and decreases farm workers’ exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals. By purchasing organic produce we support farmers who practice sustainable farming methods that forbid the use of synthetic pesticides and genetically modified organisms.
Eco-Friendly Packaging
All of Judahlicious’ take-out containers are eco-friendly. We use cups made from corn, utensils made from potatoes, and straws made from paper. All of our food containers and straws are compostable. As an eco-conscious business, we participate in sustainable business practices.
Healthyish Republicwas started to give choices to people who have certain dietary lifestyle needs. While it can be a challenge to go out to eat or order delivery at times, where good dietary options are not always available, we strive to provide the ability to gather around the same table in a “Healthyish” way, no matter what diet you live by.
We serve healthy meals from scratch, that gives you a sense of being welcomed to our Republic. Our menu is full of culture that shows in our variety of choices. Our goal is to give you a wonderful taste of the healthy mood & make you feel that you’re a member of our Healthyish Republic.
Healthyish Ingredients
Our mission is to serve whole, honest, pure foods that make you feel good. That’s why we source the best available products, working with farms and suppliers we know and trust. We always use the highest quality ingredients in our cooking, and avoid common allergens, such as gluten, dairy, and soy. This allows our menus to fit your special lifestyle needs.
Healthyish Sustainability
Sustainability improves the quality of our lives, protects our ecosystem, and preserves natural resources for future generations. That’s why we’re not just dedicated to being green, but we’re passionate about protecting the natural systems that sustain us. From our ingredient choices, vendor partnerships, to our eco-friendly packaging, we always work for a better tomorrow.

Bryan & Jeff, Co-Founders
Kitava is a clean casual restaurant that serves real food everyone can enjoy.
Our menu features comforting meals for any diet using nutritious veggies, mindful meat, and healthy fats.
Kitava dishes are delicious by design and healthy by default. Our food is hearty and satisfying, made with real ingredients that just taste better. We never use unhealthy seed oils, refined sugars, chemicals, or artificial preservatives in our cooking, and avoid common allergens such as gluten, dairy, peanuts, and soy. This makes our menu friendly for special diets, as well as those looking for relatable food that tastes great and makes you feel good.
The health-promoting ingredients we use are consciously sourced from trustworthy vendors, with a heavy emphasis on supporting local, sustainable, and regenerative practices. We provide full transparency into the ingredients and sourcing for every dish, so you always know what you’re eating and where it comes from.
We envision a food system that supports healthy people and communities by default, and believe we shouldn’t have to choose between enjoying a great meal, supporting good health, and doing what’s right for the world.

4. Beloved Cafe
A New Chapter Rooted in Community and Care Founded in 2017 in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District, Beloved Cafe has always been devoted to serving the community with love, care, and a deep commitment to wellness. Our purpose is to provide food and beverages that nourish the body, uplift the spirit, and enhance overall vitality. We are passionate about using the highest quality organic ingredients, preparing everything fresh in-house, and collaborating with local farmers and herbalists to bring you vibrant, healing meals and herbal elixirs. Beloved is more than just a cafe—it’s a space to connect, rejuvenate, and feel at home.
In 2024, a beautiful new chapter began as Jennifer, Evelyn, and Ana Yaquian—three sisters who migrated from Guatemala 17 years ago—became the new owners of Beloved Cafe. Their journey with the cafe began in 2017 when Jennifer joined the team, followed by Ana, and later Evelyn in 2019. Over the years, they took on roles across the cafe, from the kitchen to the front of house to administrative leadership. Through it all, they fell in love with the community, the mission, and the heart of Beloved.
After seven years, founders Amie and Kapiz offered the sisters the opportunity to take over the business they had helped nurture. With gratitude and excitement, the Yaquian sisters accepted—and on September 1st, they officially became the new owners.
With their deep roots in the cafe and in the Mission community, the Yaquian sisters are honored to carry forward Beloved Cafe’s mission: offering healing, nourishing, plant-based meals inspired by cultures around the world, and creating a loving space for all who walk through the doors.
