There is a well-known saying that goes, “You can’t buy happiness.” But you can buy pizza, and that’s kind of the same thing. In our daily lives, pizza keeps us going. Just consider how appropriate pizza is in every circumstance.

Date night? Pizza!
Movie night? Pizza!!
You are too tired to cook? You place a pizza order!
A family outing? Pizza!!
Are you experiencing a bad breakup? Pizza is a portion of comfort food.
In my opinion, there is no chill if you watch Netflix without any pizza, in my opinion, pizza saves lives.


The most amazing aspect of pizza is that it is not restricted to non-vegetarians. We also have lots of mind-blowing vegan pizza recipes. Vegan pizzas are not just for vegetarians; they are also a healthy option for non-vegans.
Surviving without pizza has been the most difficult challenge for me since I decided to go dairy-free. I would stare at pizza boxes being consumed by my friends and family, and not being able to take a bite frustrated me even more.
Back then, it was uncommon for restaurants to sell vegan pizza; in fact, not all countries have Domino’s that sells vegan pizza. I, therefore, made the brave decision to attempt making my vegan pizza, and it was the best decision I ever made.

Over the years, I began to develop what I considered to be the best vegan pizza recipes, some with the assistance of my friends and family, while others were created solely by me and every vegan recipe created was thoroughly enjoyed by me and my family.
My family have even switched to vegan pizzas due to how delicious these recipes are. Below is one of my favourite and best vegan pizza recipe; every ingredient, including the cheese, is vegan. Yes, the cheese is completely vegan.

A vegan pizza would not be vegan if dairy cheese was used in the recipe, so if you are vegetarian, dairy-free, or on any other type of diet, this recipe is suitable for you.

Homemade Vegan Pizza Recipe

Ingredients
- Pizza dough
- 250g of wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp dried yeast
- Extra flour for dusting
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Tomato sauce
- 55ml of organic tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 sugar 1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed
- Pinch of salt to taste
- Vegan parmesan cheese
- 2 cups of raw cashew nuts
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
- Pinch of salt
- Vegan mozzarella cheese
- Raw cashews
- Lemon juice
- Coconut milk
- Coconut oil
- Nutritional yeast
- Salt
- Tapioca flour
- Water
- Garlic powder
- Toppings
- Fresh basil leaves
- Thinly sliced tomatoes
- Vegan Mozzarella cheese
- Vegan parmesan cheese
- Red pepper flakes
- Sauteed veggies ( mushroom, red,green and yellow bell pepper, onion)
Procedures
Prepare your vegan parmesan cheese by
- Combining raw cashew nuts, garlic powder, nutritional yeast and salt in a food processor
- Blend until you get a fine texture
- Keep refrigerated
Prepare your vegan Mozzarella cheese by
- Boiling your raw cashews for 10 minutes
- Drain and pour into a food processor alongside all other ingredients
- Blend until smooth
- Place a non-stick pan on medium heat
- Pour the mixture into the pan and stir continuously until it starts to thicken
- Store into a refrigerator for future use
Prepare your sautéed veggies
- Place a large saucepan on medium heat
- Drizzle some olive oil
- Add in your peppers and onions
- Let it cook for 5 minutes
- Add your mushrooms and stir Let it cook for 5 more minutes, then you can set aside
Preheat your oven to 180°C
Prepare your pizza dough
- Add flour, sugar and salt in a large bowl
- Add little warm water to the yeast and mix
- Once frothed, add the yeast to dough
- Add some olive oil and more warm water
- Knead until it is soft
- Rub some extra flour on your work surface and knead the dough for about 10 to 12 minutes
- Place the dough into a large bowl and cover with cling film and a towel
- Keep in a warm place for about an hour
- After an hour, take out the risen dough and give it a couple of punches and knead for few minutes
- Divide the dough into two
- Roll out the dough into circular shapes using a rolling pin or your hands
- Rub the baking sheet with some leftover flour
- Place the dough on the baking sheet

Prepare your sauce
- Add the tomato sauce into a bowl
- Add salt, garlic, oregano and sugar
- You can sub your tomato sauce with a tomato paste, just add water to make the consistency thin
Vegan pizza
- Spread the pizza base with the tomato sauce (You don’t have to limit what you put on your pizza base at this point; get creative and go all in.)
- Sprinkle your vegan parmesan cheese, tomato slices, onions, sautéed veggies, red pepper flakes, fresh basil leaves
- Finish it off with some vegan Mozzarella cheese
- Gently slide the pizza, using the baking sheet, onto the oven rack Set oven to 200°C
- Bake for just 20 minutes or until it turns golden brown (WARNING: the bursting flavors in your pizza have filled your home with aroma at this point)
- Serve with some leftover vegan parmesan cheese
