Alexis started with the company in 2003 as a catering server, and has been the Wedding Coordinator since 2013. She also owns and operates her own full service event production company, Holleday Productions, and felt it was a natural progression to become a co-owner of Main Street Catering when founder Dave DeGraff was ready for retirement. She enjoys being a part of the entire process, from developing recipes and menus, to helping the event come together on your big day.

Jyll first started working for Main Street Catering as a counter server in the former restaurant in downtown Flagstaff. Over the years, she has worked for both Main Street Catering and Holleday Productions as a valuable team member with a strong work ethic and excellent eye for detail. She is a leader in superb customer service, and brings a diverse background of small business ownership and clerical management to her current role as co-owner and Office Manager of Main Street Catering.

About Healthy Food Happy Mind
My Journey of Becoming a Private Chef – Owner
I am from Flagstaff, Arizona. I was raised playing in the gardens in my backyard. There I learned where food came from and developed my palate for selecting good-quality vegetables. I have loved good, wholesome food ever since I can remember.
My great grandfather introduced me to cooking at the age of three. He died when I was six and I was given a sign he had on his front door about cooking. I have treasured it and have made it my lifetime goal to cook in honor of him. I planned to make food my mission in life. I experimented with everything in our kitchen, initially the food was “interesting”… but with time, these experiments became beautiful and delicious dishes. My parents were very health conscious, only allowing organic food in the house and did not allow processed food in my diet. They taught me how food affects the body and mind.
I chose to go to Flagstaff High School because of their culinary program. I learned how to cook in an organized, “picture perfect” way. As a senior I won a full-ride scholarship through Careers through Culinary Arts Program (CCAP) to the Art Institute for a bachelor’s degree in culinary. (I declined it because they didn’t have a cross-country running team). I also competed in a group cooking competition through Arizona Pro-Start in which we won first place in Arizona. Still wanting to further my culinary interest, I took a year off after high school to work in local kitchens to save money to go to the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York where I was offered a partial scholarship.
After leaving New York, I spent almost a year in beautiful Boulder, Utah learning about farm-to-table cuisine. I currently live in Flagstaff, Arizona, working full-time as a personal chef. I have been a home chef for a year and a half full-time for a family. I work with families on a weekly basis, creating menus and dishes to match their likes and tastes. I have also catered small parties, weddings, and family events. I am willing to travel, primarily to Flagstaff, Sedona, and Williams.
I am also an athlete. I have spent several years running cross country. I am certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I plan to study sports nutrition and have a strong desire to be a private chef for athletic teams that come from around the world to train in Flagstaff’s excellent high altitude environment.
I work with people on a very personal level, helping them eat healthy meals that work with their personal diets, fitness, and lifestyle.

Private Dinners
Would you like to experience a fine dinning restaurant experience in the comfort of your own home? I will come to your home and a create a gourmet coursed dinner. I am able to work with any diet restrictions or allergies. I only cook with organic, fresh, and locally sourced ingredients. One, two, or three starting appetizers are followed by a plated three-course dinner. Service includes creating a specialized menu, grocery shopping, cooking, full-service dinning, and clean up.
Private Events
Are you looking for someone to provide the food at your next event? Contact me to start planning the perfect meal for a business lunch, family celebration, holiday party, or wine tasting. Service includes menu writing, grocery shopping, cooking, choice of service style (determines price), and clean up.
For parties of 8 or more people, an assistant is required for an additional charge.
Nutrition Coaching
Looking for meal plans, grocery lists, and recipes? I will call you and we will figure out what you need to make your life more simple and healthy. I will create a meal plan unique to and sustainable for you. Don’t worry, I can work with any dietary restrictions. Regardless of where you are at with your eating habits, I will help you find your way.

My full planning process is collaborative. I understand every client has a unique style and vision, and I want to partner with you to make that vision come to life in not only the way your event looks, but the way it feels. I effortlessly navigate through four main planning components:
a. CONSULTING – I will guide you every step of the way. My stress-free planning process includes an interactive planning program, vendor referrals and management, assistance with hotel recommendations, invitation etiquette, and much more.
b. DESIGN & PRODUCTION – I partner with you to create a design that truly captures the heart of who you are as a couple. Then I create your event day floor plans and tie all the pretty details together.
c. FINAL LOGISTICS – This is where all the planning comes together. Event day timeline and flow creation, vendor team preparation, final walkthroughs and more.
d. EXECUTION – With clarity and confidence I will execute your wedding day to make sure everything runs smoothly, on time, and in a memorable fashion. Your job is to pop some champagne, be pampered and show up to marry the love of your life!

From the moment you say “Yes!” to the moment you say “I Do!” I will walk hand-in-hand with you through the entire wedding planning process. With this package you get to remain focused on your busy life while I focus on your dream wedding – from venue coordination; to booking and managing vendors; managing your budget; working closely with venue staff and creating a custom design based on your personal style and budget – I will make sure no detail is missed. You give me the vision and I will create something truly beautiful and memorable for you and your guests!

This package is for those that have a good handle on the planning but need a professional to take the reigns in the final phase. We will meet approximately 4 – 6 weeks before the wedding date to discuss all planning in place and help you fill in any missing pieces. I will help you finalize the setup and flow of the wedding, create a detailed timeline, finalize all vendor coordination, and wrap up all logistics. Most importantly, I will manage your entire wedding day so that you get to sit back, relax and enjoy every moment!

Areas include but are not limited to; Flagstaff, Sedona, Grand Canyon, Page, Horseshoe Bend, Mormon Lake, Havasupai, Williams, Cornville, Winslow, Parks, Jerome, Happy Jack, Cottonwood, Verde Valley, Camp Verde, Chino Valley, Prescott and surrounding areas. I also travel to the greater Phoenix area and Scottsdale. I can legally officiate in any state except for Tennessee and Virginia. I’d be delighted to travel outside of Arizona for your big day!
