I’m Tatyana, the gal behind Classy Elegant Events. I started CEE back in 2017, when both my sisters got engaged. It all started out with planning engagements, to bridal showers and then their weddings. Planning events and weddings for family made me realize nothing makes me happier than planning a thoughtful event – and that’s why I fell in love with the wedding and event industry. I believe that it’s important for family and friends to be surrounded by, not only a beautiful couple, but a beautiful atmosphere on such a special day. It adds a level of “completeness” that ties everything together. I love being able to help couples achieve a beautiful atmosphere on their special day by taking care of all the details and logistics of creating their vision!

After retiring from The Army National Guard I have been busy going to UAA.
I grew up in a military family until I myself joined.

I always have loved parties and helping bring a smile to my Friends face with Celebrations and sometimes my special Cup Cakes!!

During planning my own wedding I realized the logistics to a wedding can almost compare to getting out helicopters to Iraq.

We are two feisty female veteran friends who love to arrange, coordinate, decorate and enjoy fabulous festivities. We became friends more than a decade ago!!!

Although Individually we have been doing events since the early 90’s we started helping each other with events, parties large and small for nearly eight years. Seeing how well we worked together we decided to start WWEP January 2018. Between us we have organized everything from corporate dinners to backyard pig roasts, in-home couples baby showers to big venue weddings and most recently the 2019 Mat-Su Wedding and Special Events Expo.

Oh hi, Bride to Be! I’m Ayla Otto xx, Ayla Pronounced Kayla, without the K—I’m the heart and soul behind Events by Ayla. As your creative designer, wedding planner, and professional chaos organizer, I take care of each detail to ensure everything runs smoothly and all aspects of your big day are truly unforgettable. Originally from Homer, Alaska, I now call the Mat-Su Valley home with my husband Kyle, our three little boys, and sweet black lab, Oakley.

If we’re getting fancy, I have Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Alaska, I’m a Certified International Event and Wedding Professional, as well as a Certified International Event Decor Professional. After college, in 2019, I was determined to combine my passion for helping people with my love for event planning, and that’s how Events by Ayla, LLC was born!

As a working mom of three, wife, and business owner, one of my core values is quality over quantity and providing each one of my couples with an intimate planning experience that is as celebratory as the big day itself, which is why I only fill my schedule with a limited number of weddings each year.
