When a serious climbing accident left him with six permanent screws in his shattered ankle, CorePower Yoga Founder and CEO Trevor Tice experienced first-hand the transformational benefits of yoga. An avid outdoorsman from Telluride, CO, Trevor was left searching for an exercise to replace the running, climbing and other physically challenging activities that were no longer accessible to him. He found yoga, and was hooked.
Traveling for his technology business, Trevor practiced a variety of yoga disciplines at yoga studios across the country and found an opportunity to make yoga dynamic, challenging and convenient.
In 2002, Trevor opened the first CorePower Yoga studio on Grant Street in downtown Denver, CO, offering a proprietary form of athletic, heated yoga in modern, welcoming and spa-like studios. With six teachers, including Trevor, teaching four classes per day, it took several arduous months before classes began to fill up. But they did. And it wasn’t long before people were talking about this new yoga.
We welcome every individual as they are and celebrate the ways we are all different, yet also alike.
We unite with open hearts and inspire real connections, in the spirit of service, to encourage everyone to thrive.
We find strength through an intense physical workout rooted in the mindfulness of yoga.
We believe that consistency allows us to fully experience the profound benefits of yoga in all that we do.
CorePower is committed to making our studios, company and community more inclusive and diverse.
As part of our commitment to DEI&B, we’ve developed 3-year goals around our people, community, and partners and have released our first representation report with a renewed commitment to making tangible progress. In this report, we showcase our strategy, discuss our goals and transparently report on our progress to create a more inclusive community that welcomes all people.
Comprised of CorePower teachers, field leadership and Studio Support Center employees, our advisory council is working to create and support a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment for all employees and students who practice with CorePower Yoga.
All employees are required to complete a diversity & inclusion training and education program during their onboarding process.
We also offer DEI&B teaching and sexual harassment and discrimination training through CorePower University (CPYU), our online education platform.
We stand against discrimination of any kind and proudly support our BIPOC, AAPI and LGBTQIA+ staff and students. Through panel conversations, donation classes and more, we’re dedicated to listening, learning and supporting people and organizations dedicated to making meaningful, lasting change.
In 2020, through donation-based classes, online shop sales and matching company funds, we donated more than $25,000 to the Equal Justice Initiative, a non-profit organization that works to end mass incarceration, excessive punishment and racial inequality. In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., in January 2021 we raised $15,000 for EJI through donation classes and our own company contribution.
We’re proud to support Dress for Success, a global not-for-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing support and the development tools to thrive in work and in life and have raised over $17,000 to further their important work. Over 70% of their members identify as BIPOC, and were often the ones who were most impacted during the COVID pandemic.
Just Be Hot Yoga is a new brand with a lot of history servicing the Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and Phoenix area. Our sequencing and style of teaching is based on years of practicing and teaching various yoga styles including Vinyasa, Bikram, and Yin. Our sequence and style of teaching reinforces our primary objective as teachers: helping others to realize the powerful wellness benefits of yoga including a stronger, toned and more flexible body and an improved state of mind encouraging relaxation, self-acceptance, and awareness.
We encourage all students – newcomers and experienced students alike – to begin and maintain a consistent practice regardless of the style preferred. Our classes are designed to be accessible for all levels, so you’ll benefit from class by your effort regardless of how far or deep you get.
As long as you are feeling it and breathing calmly, you’re practicing correctly.
We look forward to meeting you!
Our sequence is a vinyasa style flow in a heated room, with added humidity. We featured a set sequence which also incorporates elements from Bikram to added mental and physical acuity. We move through a variety of yoga poses while connecting breath to movement. The class is offered as Hot 65 and Hot 75 (minutes) variant.
This is a gentle, non-heated yoga practice focused on deep stretching and long-held poses. Props such as bolster pillows, yoga blocks, and straps will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. You’re also welcome to bring your own for added comfort and support.
This is a traditional 90 minutes Bikram Yoga class with 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. The room is heated to 105 degrees and light humidity. Perfect for all levels.
We know how other gyms can be… Intimidating, nerve-racking, overwhelming, and unbelievably
unwelcoming.
The sad truth is, most gyms treat their members as if they’re just another number in the system and a name in the database. It’s like they don’t even try.
They don’t know your name by heart. They don’t know your plans for the summer. And they never ask about how your week is going.
You won’t find any of that here. We didn’t become Arizona’s Leading & Most In-Demand Training Studio by treating our clients the way normal gyms treat their members.
We did it by making your results and your experience our top priority. Because that’s what’s most important to us.
In 2013, a life-changing transformation inspired
5 Star Fitness Founder Jay Dang, to empower others to do the same. The idea behind 5 Star simple. An online coaching service with five guiding principles or “stars,” to achieve fast and sustainable transformations for all body types and experience levels. The 5 Stars were motivation, SMART goal setting, individualized workouts, custom nutrition & lifestyle habits.
Jay knew this was the most effective way to empower people to live healthy lifestyles and help them look and feel better than ever-so he got to work.
In 2015, 5 Star Fitness was built around a passion for helping others achieve life-changing transformations. Our goal has always been to help our clients do the same. Which is why we made sure everyone who worked with us had an excellent experience and got even better results. We highlighted our members, bragged about them on social media, and believed in them even when no-one else did. In less than 2 years, 5 Star Fitness grew so fast we went from only online fitness coaching to training clients out of a small studio in Scottsdale, Arizona. The 5 Star name was being passed around because our clients’ experiences and results were different than anything they’ve ever tried before.
Within the year, 5 Star made more big changes. Founder Jay Dang hired a trainer to help serve the high-demand of clients, and they took their services and clients to Independence Gym. 5 Star Fitness was THRIVING in the biggest, most competitive training facility in Arizona. Within months our innovate training and jaw-dropping results brought in floods of new clients. We became the go-to experts in busy community with over 50 training companies in a 4-mile radius and grew so quickly we had to bring on another trainer.
Word kept spreading about 5 Star Fitness.
We received requests from surrounding towns to help. In 2017, we decided to help the community of West Valley of Arizona. 5 Star Fitness moved into a gym in Avondale and started changing the city just like Scottsdale. Over time we refined our methods and were able to get our clients even better results and experiences. Our Avondale location grew faster than ever. Within 4 short months, we helped turn one of our passionate and experienced clients into a trainer.
A rockstar client in Arizona had dreams of chasing his dream career in the fitness industry. A dream 5 Star Fitness loves to support. The problem was, he wanted to be close to family in Michigan. So in 2018, 5 Star Fitness went national. We subleased another gym and set our sights on helping the community of Ann Arbor Michigan. It was never our intention to move to Michigan, but the mission of 5 Star Fitness grew much greater than our communities in Arizona, and it continues to grow.

The most effective way back to a functioning brain and the beginning of the end of your eating disorder, is personalized nourishment and a solid strategy.
Led by Kristine Sinner, MS, RDN/LDN, CEDS (Certified Eating Disorders Specialist) with expansive experience treating eating disorders exclusively since 1991, we are a team of Eating Disorder Dietitians and Eating Disorder Therapists who passionately believe that those who make nutritional intervention, restructuring, and rehabilitation a priority in their recovery will consistently have far greater and more sustainable outcomes. People suffering from eating disorders come in all shapes and sizes and present with a myriad of health complications, all at varying levels of severity.
Regardless of your body size, a starved and malnourished brain is a malfunctioning one! Before you can get to work on the psychological components of what caused, and keeps you in your eating disorder behaviors, you have to provide your brain and body with the fuel it needs to do so. This has held true with our clients time and time again with our nutrition therapy.
We are based in Scottsdale, Arizona for in person appointments and telehealth throughout AZ along with the states listed on VirtualEDRD.com for Nutrition Therapy only.
All services are proudly offered statewide in Arizona or through a virtual video session via a HIPPA & PCI compliant telehealth platform.
A 90 minute, in depth assessment of your nutritional status and level of risk based upon current metrics, nutrition intake, level of activity, lab values, and medical history/concerns. Initial food, supplement, fluid recommendations, and any other resources necessary to successful implementation of a treatment plan will be provided.
Whether you have an eating disorder or maybe just going through a hard time, individual counseling can help you move through it and grow from it. Our approach for all clients is very individual. In the assessment you will establish rapport and set goals
with your new therapist!
Weekly to bi-monthly review and modification of current nutrition and fluid intake since the initial evaluation. With measurable and achievable goals, we will navigate through the various physical, social, emotional and behavioral challenges that may come up along the way towards recovery from your eating disorder.
Treatment consults are for anyone looking to ask specific questions, usually about a loved one or child you suspect might have an eating disorder or who is unwilling to get help. We can help you figure out a plan to help them by assessing the situation, providing guidance and offering next step recommendations.
One of the biggest reasons individuals with eating disorders so often end up in a higher level of care is for re-feeding and nutrition monitoring. Being able to monitor and ensure your intake can help you to stabilize and potentially save thousands of dollars in avoiding inpatient or residential treatment.
Sinnergy Therapy & Nutrition groups are an excellent addition to your eating disorder treatment plan and can play a vital role in helping you to reach your goals in recovery while complementing the work you do individually with your dietitian or therapist. We offer 3 types of groups for both adolescents and adults with different levels of commitment.
When you think about Four Seasons, we hope unparalleled luxury comes to mind. But what is luxury, really? Our answer may surprise you.
To us, true luxury is a meaningful sense of belonging. It is a dedicated focus on how people want to be treated, grounded in the genuine care you experience during your stay and defined by an abundance of humanity and generosity. This starts with our passionate team, welcoming you to be the centre of our world, anywhere in the world – and always with a distinctly human touch.
The story of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, which opened its first hotel in 1961, is a tale of continual innovation, remarkable expansion and a single-minded dedication to the highest of standards. The Canadian-based company has, for 60 years, transformed the hospitality industry by combining personalised, genuine care with an unwavering commitment to excellence. In the process, Four Seasons has redefined luxury for the modern traveller.
Isadore (Issy) Sharp had no plans to enter the hotel business on a grand scale when the young architect and builder – working with his contractor father, Max Sharp – constructed his first hotel. Over the course of this decade, he opened three Four Seasons hotels. Sharp’s experience would pave the way for the creation of a new kind of hotel, one focused solely on the guest.
Many years ago, Four Seasons set out to create a corporate mission statement that would guide the actions of everyone in the organization. Our goals, beliefs and principles are the foundation of the work we do every day on behalf of our guests.
