Metta Yoga studio has graced the sheets of numerous magazine publications and TV stations and is home to some of the most renowned instructors in the valley. Yet, it is not solely the publicity or its teachers’ hard work and positivity that has led to a dedicated following of yogis. When you walk in the door, or sign in on Zoom, you feel known and encouraged, just as you are and you will find a wide variety of class sizes, to fit any need.
Metta founder, Zuzana, created Metta Yoga to bring a boutique, community-focused yoga studio to Phoenix that is edgy and fun, yet still deeply rooted in yogic tradition. In the spirit of metta, or “loving kindness,” a beautiful space for the community was created, to come together and explore the practice of yoga – both on and off the mat. We hope that Metta Yoga inspires you to live vibrantly, compassionately and joyfully.

We teach a variety of classes for first-time class goers, experienced yogis, and everyone in between. At Metta Yoga, experienced and diverse teachers curate classes that range from physically vigorous asana flows to Nidra classes which will ground you spiritually and mentally. Here you can find both in-studio and outdoor classes, including aerial, aqua, mat and chair yoga along with many classes also available online.
Our exceptional teachers help you strengthen the body, calm the mind and connect deeply within. Together, as both students and teachers, we’re challenged to ground ourselves through growth and transformation. Whether you’re a newbie or daily dedicate time on your mat, you’re invited to join us for classes, workshops and teacher training.

We feel the physical and mental impacts of stress when something we care about is at stake. Stress is linked to our meaning and purpose. A busy life may not become less busy – so I don’t teach how to reduce your stress. Rather, I teach techniques to create stress-resilience so you learn to align within a busy life, without wiping yourself out.
Creating a stress-resilient lifestyle is the key to turning a stressful lifestyle into a successful lifestyle. With these techniques you can move towards prioritizing what fuels your energy, restores your health, improves your relationships and gets you out of burnout in your career.
I have been an RN for over 30 years and have studied Shamanism, a form of indigenous healing, since 2002. I use a very integrated approach to create a lifestyle transformation that supports the whole person: mind, body and spirit. You need the western medicine model for diagnosis, tests and medications to act as a bridge towards real healing. The healing which comes from a multi-pronged approach which allows you to evolve through your physical experiences to create a new lifestyle aligned with your bigger life vision.

Private yoga is the opportunity to explore the different branches and styles of yoga at your own pace and with a focus you choose. Simply put, private yoga classes are truly all about what works best for you. These private sessions are an opportunity for you to work on the poses and stretches that make sense for you, on your schedule and at your own pace. Whether you’re looking to hone your physical practice or take your practice to a deeper level, our instructors can safely guide you in your desired personalized exploration. These sessions are wonderful for beginners, advanced practitioners craving more focused assistance, individuals who find public classes daunting or those working with demanding schedules.

By viewing the skin and body through a holistic lens, Metta’s own licensed medical esthetician, Tina Louise Seitz, works towards the ultimate goal of providing clients uncompromised skincare, geared toward age reversal (clinically proven) and healing skin conditions, all while focusing on overall health and wellbeing. Tina formulates the skincare and supplements. Over the past several years, Tina has been highlighted in Arizona as a skincare expert with numerous appearances on many of the area’s local TV channels). $115 for the first hour, $58 per hour after
- West studio can fit up to 36 people.

The aerial studio can fit up to 18 people without the silks. If you’re interested in renting out the space to host an aerial class, we have 9 silks available.

Based on Sara’s training as a registered nurse and Integrative Health Coach, coupled with her ancient Shamanic lineage, this session maps out how you are designed to evolve and grow in this lifetime as well as learn about your animal totem – the ally which mirrors natural qualities within you, just waiting to be released. You will also learn how your health challenges are a key teacher for personal growth and evolution.
Dharma surpasses more than what you are meant to do in this life; it is your true essence. With so many searching to find their purpose during their time on this Earth, living your spiritual purpose, your dharma, can be considered a spiritual journey.
Uncovering your dharma design answers not “What will I do?” but “How shall I do it”. This 90-minute session will enable you to identify the karmic patterns which keep you stuck.
