Nexus Coffee and Creative all started on a napkin back in the Fall of 2016. Amy Counce, co-founder of Nexus was sitting across the cafe table from her father, Matt. She knew at the time she wanted to create a gathering place for the community. The "why" was to be creative and community focused while the "how" was with coffee. A nexus means a connecting point or central place.

As the village began to form, everything began to set into motion. While looking downtown, she walked up to a space in the heart of the city at 301 President Clinton Avenue, and it felt like home immediately. Nexus’ doors officially opened in July of 2017.

In its over 7 years of existence, the Nexus reach has spread far and wide! Nexus has expanded the main shop by another 2,000 square feet, offering local retail goods, live music performances, and a creative hub for all! Nexus also began roasting its own coffee beans in the spring of 2023, offering a variety of roasts from a variety of countries.

What we do

1. Catering

- Drip Coffee Box

Order a drip coffee box with all the fixings, including cups, creams/sugars, lids, stir sticks, etc. One coffee box generally serves 10-12 people.

- Nona Bakes Pastry Box

A Nona Bakes assorted pastry box is the perfect treat to bring to your next meeting or event! Assorted boxes come standard with a selection of Nona Bakes’ popular items. Custom boxes can be ordered upon request.

- Custom Catering

For private rentals of our space, we offer grazing tables from Nona Pruitt, our head baker!

2. Rental

- Creative Room Rental

Our Creative Room is available for rent during our business hours, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Our Creative Room includes room for as many as 12 people, Google Chromecast, a white board, free Wifi, and free drip coffee!

Did you know you can rent out our entire space? We have the perfect space for your next party, gathering, or event! Nestled in the heart of the River Market area of Downtown Little Rock, our space is easy to find and has ample space: almost 4,000 square feet and room for up to 120 guests. We have hosted wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, and company holiday parties!
