About The Floating Lotus

Cassandra Benning is the owner of The Floating Lotus Yoga Studio and Day Spa. Her skin care journey started when she was 12 years old: having Grade 2 acne, she quickly learned the necessity of caring for skin. With the help of her mother, great skincare products and her dermatologist, she survived her teen years unscathed.
In her early 20s, after earning a bachelor's degree in business administration, Cassandra worked for Lancôme cosmetics, where she loved playing with and selling skincare products. While working there, Cassandra learned that one is never too young to start preventative skin care.

In her 30s, she became interested in shirodhara, a relaxing, ancient Indian treatment. Cassandra discovered that she needed an aesthetics license to perform shirodhara, so in 2005 she obtained that license. She and has been working since then to help clients be their most beautiful, inside and out.

At The Floating Lotus, we provide convenient spa services and yoga classes in a relaxing space, helping busy people feel their best so they can give their best.
