Serving fine Italian foods since 1985, Battimelli’s A&S Italian Fine Foods is rooted in tradition, passion, and authentic flavors. Our journey began in Brooklyn, NY, where founder Carmine Battimelli stepped into the culinary world at just 13 years old, delivering meats and learning the craft from seasoned butchers. By the age of 21, Carmine had turned his passion into a storefront in Stratford, CT, blending old-world techniques and family recipes to create a menu unlike any other.

In 1993, the store relocated to Fairfield, CT, where it continues to flourish. Today, Battimelli’s A&S offers a premium selection of Certified Black Angus meats, poultry, pork, veal, fresh pastas, gourmet delicacies, and an array of hot and cold prepared meals, soups, and salads. Our legacy is built on quality, service, and the flavors of generations past. Recognized among the “Fairfield Top 50” and voted “Best Sandwich & Prepared Meals,” we’re proud to be a beloved staple in our community—and we’re just getting started.
